One week after new year began, still so many offers are roaming around the online shopping and stores. It may go on for another couple of weeks but in reality, it goes on as long as people celebrating or are still making mistakes writing 2015 instead of 2016.
This typographical error is also called 'Malapropism' as well 'Dogberryism' doesn't really sound known ? well yes, it's a rare word to be used, but it does have a background. It was named after Mrs. Malaprop, who used to misspeak by using words with great comic effect that she intends and sound similar to actual words. This story is as old as 1775, which had a play named 'The Rivals' with character Mrs. Malaprop, written by Richard Brinsley Sheridan. And Shakespeare used it in his play Much Ado About Nothing, as a character, Dogberry, who utters many malapropisms in an intention to create humour. Well this blog is in respect to all those who are or in coming future going to write 5 in place of 6 for this year. Steps to overcome that error
I wish you all a happy new year, and hope you don't write cheques with 2015. Cheers.
