To begin with I was excited to see this one, and must say, it reached almost all expectations. Except, Emilia din't seem fit for this movie. I wish it was Dakota Fanning or Chloë Grace Moretz or Natalia Dyer or Rachael Taylor, instead.
It was fun to see how Chewbacca and Han Solo met for the first time. Slow paced at times felt to loose the story in between and suddenly catching up to the story in next scene with a suspenseful reveal. Although many a times it was clear what was to happen except when Han shot Beckett.
In the end showing Darth Maul, was good touch for the next one.
All in all 7 out of 10. Worth the money.
Look out for Thandie Newton's short appearance in the movie, She's good.
As described in imdb. "A look at India's second confidential nuclear test series at Pokhran lead by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, during the time of PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee's tenure." Movie director Abhishek Sharma managed to capture the patriotism. Perhaps the movie being related to a legend remaking the history with a mild comedy and music almost at its place without disturbing the actual story.
Regardless the legend's name behind the story, it was all done with speedy move between scenes and right amount of dialogues. Except a few when the foreign actors/spies were brought in. And the pause scene right after the first test. No1 got hurt yet everyone seemed to be flying in the scene. Possible show off of CG.
John did justice with his role, and Boman held the role strict.
All in all around 8 out of 10 stars.
Besides that I can't seem to ignore the fact, they specially used one of the dialogues that included 'BJP' party name for being 'good' . it seemed a bit politically corrected or edited.
Just got back after watching the premier show before it launches tomorrow in India. WOW! From the start till the end.. it was worth it. Of-course full of cursing and blood gushing kill scenes and some comedy that was not required.. still it was worth it. A family movie.. It is.. Not. Best if you watch with colleagues. I loved the starting cast innovative as it doesn't have any names.. just dialogues. don't miss it. .
Deadpool, makes a team of his own coz he couldn't do justice with the. X-men rules as per the COLOSSUS. But the team X-force (lol) is really.. something, specially the Vanishing guy he seemed like Brad Pit. Domino is totally hot! Even hotter than Deadpool's ex. oops.. yeah she dies. (you know who)
That wasn't all to watch.. there's a BIG someone who's going to fight Colossus. Cool CG fight.
Negasonic and Surge.. wow.. both gorgeous girls and cute. The combo is sweet. I am sure there's gonna be some anime/hentai version for both soon in some jaw-dropping 'together' moments.
I hope I did not leak out much here. Also.. there's no ending teaser for next one. So no need to wait for the casting to end. Just stand up after he kills Green Lantern.. 😂 That was hilarious!
That's all for this time. Hope you all enjoy the movie in a good theater. It's work it.
9 out of 10 stars, taking 1 away for some unwanted humor.
But since it was worth it.. giving 1+ .. lol won't make sense till you watch it.
The word Raazi means 'Willing'. Whether you are or not, but the movie really takes a toll on what it portrays. The Director, Meghna Gulzar has directed some old number of movies, Talvar was my personal favorite, with Irrfan Khan as lead role, it did get have a touch of real acting. Coming back to Raazi, starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal really couldn’t go afar. I fell almost asleep, but had to finish my pop-corns and drink.
Its was like ’patriotism’ and ‘girl power’ were in the same room trying to portray how smart the lead actress gradually becomes and ends up realizing she had made a big mistake!? Really, that doesn’t seem like anything. It seems the “the Johar group" and "producers", were trying to showcase Alia’s acting as 'the best' one could ever get to watch. Well.. nope. She has a loooooooong a** time to go. On the other hand media is trying to connect ‘her acting’ to Bollywood legends. Rubbish. Vicky din't get to do much, other than paid to kiss.
Story-wise, it was all very much predictable. (as I said, I almost fell asleep) Not to forget, the trailer did most of the talking, even before the movie was released. STILL Bollywood doesn’t understand how to make trailers. I wish I could guide them. More-over songs felt like they were pushed in the movie to continue with the Bollywood old habits.
Well all-in-all, this movie could have been better, IF they had used instrumental music with less dialogues, editing-out or cutting-out most of the common-sense parts, making the movie short(est ever).
Sad but I would only give 2 stars out of 10. That too coz Alia is cute.
